Cerkote - Magpul Flat Dark Earth

Magpul Flat Dark Earth is a popular color, as it blends in in natural environments and because it matches the Magpul components and magazines.  It is also a useful color in Camouflage patterns.

Cerakote Examples - Coyote Tan

Cerakote - Coyote Tan

Coyote Tan is a mid-range tan that is slightly browner than flat dark earth to our eyes.  It is a great color on its own and is useful in camouflage patterns.

Sawtooth Rifles #7 was Cerakoted with Coyote Tan on the metal and as the base coat on the stock.

Sawtooth Rifles #4 was Cerakoted with Coyote tan as the base coat on the stock, which has Sniper Grey and OD Green splatters added.

Cerakote Examples - Sniper Grey

Cerakote - Sniper Grey

Sniper Grey is one of our favorite colors, especially for our custom rifles.  It never looks out of place on a firearm, and goes well with most of the other colors, wood, and camouflage patterns.  We also use Sniper Grey in some of our camouflage patterns.  Sniper Grey and OD Green is probably our favorite combination.

Sawtooth Rifles #2, a .35 Whelen built on a Marlin XL7 with Sniper Grey on the metal.

Sawtooth Rifles build #3 and #4, on Safari in South Africa as an extreme test of the Cerakote finishes.  The metal on these two were finished with Sniper Grey.  The stock on #3 (top) was finished with Flat Dark Earth and Sniper Grey splatters.  The Stock on #4 (bottom) was finished with Coyote Tan with Sniper Grey and OD Green splatters.

A Browning BBR with the typical "Browning Shine" replaced by Sniper Grey on the metal and a matte Tung oil finish on the walnut stock.  The Leupold scope was also Cerakoted with the Sniper Grey C-series product.

A custom target rifle (HS Precision built by Gre-Tan) we finished in Sniper Grey.

Cerakote Examples - Tungsten

Cerakote - Tungsten

Tungsten is greyish mettalic Cerakote color.  It is darker than the Stainless color and looks great with the other metallic colors or by itself.

Tungsten was used on the small parts of this Kimber Aegis II along with Stainless on the frame and slide.

Tungsten was used on the bottom barrel in this photo with Blue Titanium underneath.  Armor Black was used on the top barrel.

Tungsten was used on the grip panels of this Sig grip frame, along with Burnt Bronze.

Tungsten was used for this unconventional camouflage pattern on the stock of the Sawtooth Rifles #5 build, along with Armor Black and Burnt Bronze

Cerakote Examples - Stainless

Cerakote - Stainless

Stainless is a Cerakote color that closely resembles a bead blasted stainless finish with a hint of metallic sparkle.  It looks great with the other metallic colors or by itself.

A Kimber Aegis II finished in Stainless (slide and frame) and Tungsten (small parts)

Browning Gold Sporting Clays with Stainless on the receiver and Blue Titanium on the barrel.

Fuji Super Auto Perfect Skeet finished with Stainless on the receiver and Blue Titanium on the barrel.

Cerakote Examples - Blue Titanium

Cerakote - Blue Titanium

Blue Titanium is a lighter blue metallic.  It looks great contrasting with some of the other metallic colors, such as Stainless or Tungsten.  It also looks good next to a satin finished walnut.

Browning Gold Sporting Clays finished in Blue Titanium (barrel) and Stainless (receiver), with the Walnut stripped and refinished with Tung oil.

A Fuji Super Auto Perfect Skeet refinished in Blue Titanium and Stainless, like the Browning above.

Blue Titanium was used as the base coat on these two target barrels, and then a second color of Armor Black and Tungsten was added.

Cerakote - Magpul Foliage Green

Magpul Foliage Green is an interesting color that seems to blend in well in multiple environments.  It looks great with blacks and greys and is useful in Camouflage patterns.  It will also match up with Magpul's Foliage Green components and accessories.
