Project Liberator

Project Liberator #1 -

Seventy one short years ago, a small, crude weapon was made in mass quantities with the intention of dropping them behind enemy lines with hopes of getting them into the hands of resistance fighters in occupied territory.   This weapon, known as the Liberator, was a small investment to give people a fighting chance and a bit of hope.

Today, a similar project must start.  This started as an idea in a one man rifle shop by an American that would like to retain the ability to choose when, where, and how he is armed, as well as the ability to protect his family with the best means he can afford.  This idea was  influenced by the Republican Senators trying their best to argue for these rights to a majority of Democrats that are willing and able to take these rights away.  The Republicans put up a strong fight, but were out numbered in this case.  The fact that there are still legislators that will argue for the Constitution is a glimmer of hope, and for them we should be thankful.  While listening in on the Senate debates of the Colorado bills that essentially rape the law abiding citizens of this otherwise great state, this plan was made to try to draw funds from all across this nation for the next battle.   The enemy is funded well, and we need help on the frontlines.  We must do every thing we can within our legal means to relieve some of these people of their jobs and the power we have granted them.  It is clear, that this state's politics is being influenced by a greater force, and this steamroller has the momentum to roll right over Colorado, and on to other states.   This is not just about Colorado at this point, and we may very well lose this battle come the vote on Monday.

So this project that was conceptualized is that no matter what happens with these bills, we have to act on the fact that some of these elected senators and representatives have not proven themselves worthy of representing us.   Right now, I see the recall effort as being the first step to showing we as a nation are not happy with what is going on.  Colorado Accountability has my interests, but unfortuatly, this one man with a family and business to keep afloat can't provide much manpower to the recall effort.  So instead, the above Glock 23 is up for grabs.  I want to donate it as a raffle prize to the guys at Colorado Accountability to do with what they can.  I am hoping that it can be the start of something even bigger with even more donations from some of you other guys with the means, that would get a $10, $100, $1000 or whatever contribution one can give as a raffle ticket, but I am going to leave that up to the guys at Colorado Accountability to figure out what will work best.  (call me when you have a plan)

The dime will also be included with this deal.  It is something that is much more than the 10 cent face value.  This donation was not small for us, and this dime was thrown in the air to let fate decide if this project was a go.  Heads was the call for attack, and when I bent down to the floor to see what it was, I just saw the word LIBERTY.  Project Liberator was a go.

fine print:
All normal rules will apply.  The pistol will remain in my inventory and will be transferred  to an FFL that can give it to the future owner after completion of the proper paperwork and background check.  I can do that if the lucky one is a CO resident and wants to come to Fort Collins to get it.

The Glock 23 is used, a .40 S&W, has a fresh application of Cerakote, and will come with one magazine.  And hey, it will even be ban compliant, unfortunately.  If the winner happens to be in a state where this may not be transferred to, it will be replaced with something of similar value that will be legal.
