Cerakote Examples - OD Green

Cerakote - OD Green

OD Green is a very useful color and looks great on the metal or a stock.  We also use it frequently in Camouflage patterns.

OD Green looks great with the blacks, tans, browns, and wood.  One of our all time favorite combos is OD Green and Sniper Grey.

Note:  Cerakote has a Magpul OD Green that matches the Magpul components and magazines very well.  The Magpul variant is slightly darker than the OD Green shown in these examples.

Remington 700ML finished with OD Green on the polymer stock and Sniper Grey on the metal.

Cerakote Examples - SOCOM Blue

Cerakote - SOCOM Blue

Socom Blue is a glossy Blue that almost has a greyish tint.  It is in interesting color that we want to use more, but only have one example to show so far.

Cerakote Examples - Smith and Wesson Red

Cerakote - Smith and Wesson Red

Yes, there is even a red Cerakote...

We have only used it once so far, and not even on a gun, but I am thinking this needs to go on a varmint rifle soon.

Cerakote Examples - Desert Sand

Cerakote - Desert Sand

Desert Sand is one of the lighter tans and will blend in the driest areas.  Don't misplace your Desert Sand coated firearm on a sand dune...

Desert Sand is also useful in Camouflage paterns.

Cerakote Examples - Flat Dark Earth

Cerakote - Flat Dark Earth

Flat Dark Earth, like the name implies, blends in well in drier natural environments.  It is in the mid range of the tan to light browns and works well as a solid color, or as a color in a camouflage pattern.

Note:  Cerakote has a Magpul Flat Dark Earth that matches the Magpul firearm components, accessories, and magazines.  There is very little difference between the two colors.

Cerakote Examples - Armor Black

Cerakote - Armor Black

Armor Black is a great Cerakote color to fit the needs of those wanting a matte black.  It never looks out of place on a firearm and matches black anodized aluminum well.

Armor Black has a slight greyish tint, and isn't as dark or glossy as Graphite Black, but is blacker than Sniper Grey.

Armor Black looks great with most other colors and wood.  It is also a good color to use as a contrasting color on small parts with a different color on the larger parts.  We also like to use Armor Black as a shadow color in our camouflage patterns.

Cerakote Examples - Burnt Bronze

Cerakote - Burnt Bronze

Burnt Bronze is a popular color and one of our favorites in the right situation.  It is probably a bit too flashy to blend in in a natural environment, but looks great on a competition gun, target gun, or even an AR that you want to stand out a little.

Burnt Bronze looks great with Armor Black, Tungsten, Stainless (The Cerakote color or the real thing) and even a dull finished Walnut.

Burnt Bronze is difficult to photograph and flash photography brings out a brighter sparkle than is apparent to the eye in natural light.

One of our most popular requests is the Burnt Bronze Lower, Uppper, and Forend combo.  Contrasting with standard black small parts and furniture makes for a real attractive AR15.
Sawtooth Rifles #5, a .260 Rem built on a Stevens 200.  Metal Cerakoted in Burnt Bronze, with Armor Black, Burnt Bronze and Tungsten on the stock.  The stock was a surprise for this customer, who decided it was a bit flashy for what he wanted, so look for it again on another Stevens varmint rifle build coming soon.
