Sawtooth Rifles - Build #25: 7mm-.300WM  long range hunter on a Winchester model 70 pushfeed action.

Action:  Winchester Model 70 Pushfeed, with our Stage 1 Blueprinting
Barrel Blank:  Bartlein #9 (Heavy Varm), Stainless, 5R rifling, 1:8.4" twist, finished at 28"
Chamber:  7mm-.300WM (set up for 180 Berger's)
Brake:  Badger Ordnance Thruster Tactical Compensator
Stock:  HS Precision PST055
Bottom Metal:  Win 2pc
Trigger:  Win
Rings/Bases:  EGW 20 MOA Rail, rings TBD
Optic:  TBD
Finish, Metal:  Armor Black Cerakote on the action, bead blast finish on the barrel.

Bluprinted Winchester receivers.  Squared up and new 1.0625-16 threads, compared to the 1-16 intereupted thread on the factory version on the right.  #25 is 3rd from the left, with the tapered recoil lug.  These Winchesters tend to all be a little different...

Components laid out for #25.  There is about 13 lbs here!

Finished chamber and threads.

Testing headspace.





#25 mocked up on the left, next to #21, the other 7mm-.300WM that is yet unfinished.
