First Shots: Recomendations for our little shooters.

Set up for success!  And hydration...

We are taking what we know about rifle shooting and adding what we learn applying that to our own little shooter, in hopes that we can help other little shooters develop safe and successful rifle shooting skills. 

2014 Arizona Coues Deer Hunt

Sawtooth Rifles #4 and an 1873 customized south of the border I suspect.  I found the buttstock sticking out of the dirt in a dry wash.  I was somewhat disappointed it wasn't a Mexican military HK G3, but still a cool find.  I wonder how many times it has crossed the border undocumented.

Getting buzzed by a squad of warthogs was cool.  I'm kind of glad they weren't holding down the BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT switch though.

For Sale: Remington 1100 Trap-T 30" Full

For Sale:  Remington 1100 Trap-T 12ga  $785

This Remington 1100 is the Trap-T model, and is a 12ga with 30" barrel, and fixed full choke.  This shotgun has been well taken care of, but has shot a round of trap or two.  The shotgun has been used with a shell catcher clipped on to the receiver.  There is some bluing wear under the shell catcher.  The shell catcher will be included with the shotgun, which will save you some trouble at the trap range.

The 1100 is a good design for reducing recoil, which makes this shotgun a great option for a trap shooter that may be sensitive to recoil.

The price above includes shipping (ups ground with insurance) to your local FFL.   A local purchase in Fort Collins CO would require a legal transfer, which I will cover the fees for.  The shotgun is in CO, but I could easily get it to Southern Idaho in a couple weeks, or anywhere along the way from CO.

Note:  The camera flash makes the stock look dried out in this photo, but the stock does not show this in natural lighting.
